How It Works

1. Select Your Pet Photo

Upload a clear photo of your pet with your order — we accept most images! If there’s an issue with your photo, we’ll reach out to help.

2. Personalize Your Portrait

Add your pet's name, pick a background color, choose a style, and select the frame and size that suit you best.

3. Custom Illustration

After you place your order, our skilled artists will create a detailed digital illustration of your pet.

4. Design Approval & Final Processing

Once your custom illustration is complete, we’ll send you a proof for approval. After you approve the design, we’ll begin processing the final print and prepare it for shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way!

Our frames are crafted using high-quality materials for a durable and elegant finish. Available in a variety of colors and sizes, each frame is designed to complement any style or space. Plus, they come ready to hang, making it easy to display your favorite moments right out of the box!

What Makes a Great Photo?

  • Take your pet's photo in a naturally lit area without filters for the best detail and accuracy.
  • Capture a close-up shot from the front, showing the ears, head, neck, and chest for the best crop and detail.
  • Try to avoid overhead shots, blurry photos, or heavy filters. Photos of pets lying down may be difficult to illustrate accurately.

Can i have more than one pet on my portrait?

What if I need to modify my order?

No problem! We’re happy to assist with any changes to your pet portrait order if you contact us at info@chelseaandbrush.com within 30 minutes of placing your order.

After 30 minutes, we may no longer be able to process changes, including address updates. Please note that in certain cases, modifying an order may lead to shipping delays.

What is a Digital Download?


A Digital Download is an option where you select the digital-only product. In this case, we will design and create your custom portrait or watercolor illustration and send the final digital file directly to your email.

Please note, this option is for digital artwork only and does not include a physical product.

What are your shipping times?

General shipping estimates:

USA: Orders typically arrive within 1-2 weeks from the purchase date. During peak holiday seasons, shipping times may extend up to 3 weeks.

Shipping Costs

We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $100.

For orders under $100, a flat rate shipping fee of $10.

Can I return my pet portrait if I’m not satisfied?


Since our products at Chelsea & Brush are custom-made, we are unable to accept returns. Each piece of artwork is carefully created based on the photo you provide, making it unique to you and your pet.

However, if your order arrives damaged or the artwork doesn’t meet your expectations, please follow these steps:

Order arrived damaged? Upload a photo of the damage using this form, and we’ll assist you with a replacement.

Artwork not as expected? Request a replacement through this form, and our customer care team will reach out to assist you.

You don’t need to email us separately if you've submitted a form for damage or artwork concerns— we regularly review all requests.

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed?

Because our portraits are custom-made, we start working on each order immediately after it’s placed. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at info@chelseaandbrush.com within 12 hours of placing the order. We will process a refund at our discretion. After 12 hours, cancellations are no longer possible.
